Markets
Markets are held in the mornings until around 12.30-1.00pm, the size and variety of each depends on the season. Saturday morning is always reliable in Erquy where you can pick up fresh fruit, veg, cheese, paella, cooked organic chickens, flowers, clothes, linen and Breton goodies including such local specialities as cider, seafood, galettes (savory buckwheat pancakes) and many different types of bread.

Edible regional specialities
- All shellfish, but particularly local oysters, mussels and scallops
- Fish soup
- Cider
- All pork products (pâté, sausages etc)
- Crêpes (sweet) or Galettes (savoury pancakes made with buckwheat).
- Goats cheese (chèvre) produced from local herds
- Fresh fish - mobile delivery man (Peter) outside La Bouillie bakery on Wednesdays between 11.30-12.00. Also, Laurent who can be found doing the rounds of La Bouillie on Thursday mornings. Can be tracked down by listening out for his horn who can also be found at Pléneuf market on Tuesday mornings.
